You maybe here because life has become overwhelming, stressful or emotionally heavy. Clients come to me for:

Work and Performance Demands

  • Putting your life on hold to be available for work 24/7

  • Missing holidays, birthdays or meaningful moments because of work

  • Pressure to perform

  • Perfectionism and procrastination

  • Being pulled in too many directions at once

  • Difficulty setting healthy boundaries (i.e., being able to say “no”)

  • A feeling that you’re not capable (“imposter syndrome”)

  • Feeling completely depleted and burnt out

  • Feeling alone, like no-one gets it

Relationships and Life’s Curveballs

  • Strain in relationships or communication

  • People-pleasing/co-dependancy

  • A desire to “litigate” your partner; frequent arguments

  • Parenting issues

  • Divorce and affairs

  • Grief or the loss of someone important (a parent, a child, a sibling, a friend)

  • Navigating health, including cancer and heart issues—your own or a loved one’s

  • Mid-life crises

  • Unexpected curveballs

Emotional and Inner Challenges

  • Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed or exhausted

  • Feeling anger or irritability

  • A desire to fix every problem in your life and those around you

  • Unable to sit with uncertainty; wanting total control

  • Using unhealthy ways to numb or cope (e.g., substances, gambling, eating)

  • A desire to be more mindful or improve self-esteem

  • Spending years searching for meaning or purpose

  • Checking out emotionally (e.g., playing video games, moving)

I can help you cultivate clarity, steadiness, meaning and emotional wellbeing, even when life feels like too much or you feel stuck.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, working virtually throughout California.

Therapy for Lawyers

My motto: “Lawyers are people too." I work to support the human inside the lawyer so that you can perform better, find fulfillment and sustain your work and your life. We make room for what you're feeling and needing.

Our focus is on your wellbeing, or “being well” while you work hard. We can go deep or I can offer practical tools.

I've sat where you're sitting. Before becoming a therapist, I practiced law for 10 years—mostly in Big Law (Skadden & Wilson Sonsini) and as acting general counsel for eMachines, a public company.

I worked hard and billed a ton, including over 400 hours in a single month. “Work hard, play hard" was my motto. I loved it, though I ultimately left due to circumstances beyond my control. I address this transition and my health history on my About page.

I fundamentally understand what it's like to perform at the peak while facing the relentless pressures and demands of the legal profession.

Therapy for Individuals & Couples

Therapy that helps you feel seen, supported and understood.

You don’t have to be a lawyer to feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or disconnected from yourself or your relationships. Working together, we slow things down so you can tune into what’s happening beneath the stress, pressure, dissatisfaction or old patterns you’ve been carrying for years.

I offer a compassionate space where you can talk openly, without judgment or pressure.
